Transnational Project Meeting in Netherland

Mothercare Project Holds Its Fifth International Meeting in the Netherlands

The fifth Transnational Project Meeting of the Mothercare project took place on September 5, 2024, at the Eurasia Foundation in The Hague, Netherlands. This meeting was held under the Erasmus+ KA220-ADU-Cooperation Partnership in Adult Education program.

Participants included Dr. Musab Talha Akpınar from Bistek Software, Dr. Mehmet Tuğrul and Melek M. Özkesen from Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University, Melissa and Olga Cabral from JumpIn Hub, Ildikó Hanuliaková and Anna Antalová from Spoluprácou pre lepšiu budúcnosť, and MARIAN MAGYAR and Erika Stankovics from humanprofess.

Following the opening remarks by the project coordinator, detailed presentations were made on the outputs such as the Handbook for Mothers, the Onscreen Support Board, and the Mobile Application/Interactive Portal. The session also covered administrative and financial reporting, project management, and intellectual property rights agreements.

After a lunch break, the detailed dissemination plan and strategy were discussed, and multiple events were held. Planning for the next partners’ meeting was also conducted during this session.

One of the highlights of the meeting was the discussion on the challenges of subtitles in different languages and how this process was improved. It was noted that Portuguese subtitles needed to be renewed, which was one of the most challenging tasks in the project.

The next phases of the Mothercare project and strategies to reach target audiences in various countries will also be supported through the project’s website and mobile app. The meeting concluded with a call to share the work with colleagues, with the entire conference streamed online.
