Partners have been selected based on a systematic selection process involving several deliberations between applicant organization coordinator & (potential) project partners. Based on several criteria like their profile, network, involvement & experience in EU cooperation, involvement in & experience with similar program, cooperation in former projects etc.) a selection of potential partners was made and contacted in order to assess the organizations potential interest in cooperation. In addition to these points, we also took into account softer criteria such as working in multinational settings, enthusiasm, cooperative attitude, etc. in the selection of potential partners as these are valued traits to running an effective project in practice. Interested parties were asked to fill out a template with information about the organization (Organizational ID, background & experience, connection to the project aims & objectives, etc). Based on this information coordinator made the final selection of partners. The consortium is set up to complement each other in experience, expertise and position in society. This to make sure there is an appropriate mix of competences available to be able to deliver quality results and to realized maximum impact. The consortium is characterized by its experience & competences in project management & participation, including projects covering topics related to the the mothers & parents in their post-partum period. Due to the objectives & nature of the project, the majority of the partners involved had experience in parenting topics and specifically the problems mothers deal with. Coordinator is a foundation who has a large network of the women from different segments of the society and with different roles in the society including the motherhood. P1 (AYBU) is a state-owned university and has clear goals in their strategic plans to engage in social responsibility and inclusion. Moreover, they will be able to provide academic assistance in developing the WPs through the high quality expertise on the psychological and pedagogical aspects of the motherhood by the studies of scientists and experts in this field. P2(PT), P3 (SK) and P4 (HU) are all nonprofit organizations who develops certain projects about the parents and specifically the mothers in their countries, making them experienced about this field. P5 (TR) is a software enterprise that will complement the project by transferring their technological knowledge and experience in terms of developing software tools of the project. Coordinator, AYBU (P1), the NGOs (P2, P3, P4) and the software enterprise (P5) will contribute with designing the guideline in such a way that specifying the needs of the mothers and meeting them. All of our partners show strong potential to produce high quality outcomes as well as disseminating the results to target groups easily with their strong networks. This project values ensuring involvement of every partner to the greatest extent possible into the activities and results. Inclusiveness is at the heart of our project. Coordinator and 4 of other partners (P1, P2, P3, P4) are employing directly parents and specifically mothers. P1 (AYBU) also have academics and experts making research about the motherhood and parenting. Therefore, our activities will be mostly carried out with an inclusive way. Our motivation is to create a more inclusive digital environment which can provide more psychological and pedagogical support to the mothers in post-partum period. Therefore, this project will be ensuring inclusion through: – analysing and exploring the problems that the mothers face in their post-partum period in different partner countries (we have seen many stakeholders in the mother community) – talking with experts about a variety of possible solutions/ support to their pyschological and pedagogical needs (our partners are selected accordingly) – providing an accessible online platform/application that the mothers in postpartum period get relevant support for them and interactively sharing their experiences with each other (WP-3)PARTNERS
