Psychological and Pedagogical Support for Mothers in the Post-Partum Period” Dissemination Event Held at Ulucanlar Prison Museum

On September 18, 2024, a significant dissemination event for the “Psychological and Pedagogical Support for Mothers in the Post-Partum Period” project was conducted at the historical Ulucanlar Prison Museum in Ankara. The event gathered participants from various professions including educators, students, retirees, pharmacists, academics, financial advisors, municipal center officials, dormitory managers, insurance agents, women’s education center directors, trade experts, consultancy firm representatives, civil servants, radiology technicians, and homemakers.

The event began with an opening presentation by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Semih Ceyhan, Director of the Competition and Innovation Implementation and Research Center at Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University. Following the opening, speeches were made by Dr. Veysel Tiryaki, the Mayor of Altındağ, and Prof. Dr. Ali Cengiz Köseoğlu, the Rector of Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University. Both leaders emphasized the importance of the project and its contributions to supporting mothers in the community.

Dr. Melek Mutioğlu Özkesen provided an overview of the project, sharing insights into its objectives and the successes achieved. This was followed by presentations of the project’s key ideas and implementations by Dr. Esra Kılıç Ceyhan and Dr. Musab Talha Akpınar.

The final segment of the event featured a panel on “Mother and Baby,” discussing the outcomes of the project and the ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of life for mothers.

The event served to raise awareness and increase support for mothers during the post-partum period, with participants gaining valuable information to aid them on their motherhood journey. The dissemination event concluded with an affirmation of the project’s impact on improving maternal well-being.
